Please provide us with all relevant information including copies of any documents that you have. Doing so will enable us to tailor a proposal to your unique requirements.
For instance, if you wish to have a missing relative traced, your information could include: the person's name; nickname; place or country of birth; date or year of birth; last known city, region, town or address; when last known to be there; last known occupation; last known marital status and name of spouse or partner. If it is your parent or parents that you wish to find out about or locate, please tell us your own year and place of birth.
If you know very little information about about the person, this does not necessarily present a problem. It just means different strategies will be formed for the research and hence the quote will be different.
Similarly for historical research, please provide known information and copies of any documents you have. Please also tell us any steps you have already undertaken - if any - to solve the particular family mystery or to find out about your forebears.
